About this event

Bridging to Belonging: A Foundation for Solving Issues and Meeting Community Needs

Join the Rotary Action Group for Peace – Great Lakes Chapter and the InterFaith Leadership Council of Metropolitan Detroit for an interactive program designed to strengthen our ability to create spaces where everyone feels they belong.

Belonging is at the foundation of the work we do in our communities. When people feel heard, valued and connected, we are better able to work across differences, solve problems and co-create a stronger future together.

Bridging to Belonging provides practical skills and experiences that help participants build connections and create spaces of belonging in their organizations and communities.

During this interactive session, participants will:

• Explore the science of belonging and why it matters for the work of Rotary and our communities

• Learn and practice starter skills for bridging across differences

• Participate in bridging experiences in small, diverse groups

• Discover how these skills can help communities work together to identify needs and create solutions
