Artemis Adventure with LEGO® Bricks

About this event

Inspired by NASA’s Artemis missions, the latest exhibition at The Henry Ford puts kids in the role of astronauts, engineers and designers as they explore what it takes to return humans to the Moon — and eventually prepare for missions to Mars.

Families can take on hands-on engineering challenges, build their own creations and explore the future of space travel through LEGO bricks. The exhibit encourages kids to:

• Build and experiment with LEGO bricks

• Explore what it takes to establish a base on the Moon

• Solve engineering challenges inspired by space exploration

• Learn about spacecraft and technology used in space

• Imagine what it could take for humans to live on Mars

• Explore science, technology, engineering, art and math through play

• Think like an astronaut, engineer and problem-solver

The exhibition also features enormous LEGO models inspired by some of the most recognizable spacecraft and technology in space exploration, including the Apollo Lunar Module, International Space Station, Orion spacecraft, Space Launch System, Lunar Gateway, Artemis Base Camp and Mars habitats.
