About this event

Looking for a supportive art class where your child can build real skills while still having room to explore creatively? This small-group art class for ages 8–11 combines skill-building with imagination, observation, and creative exploration. Students will strengthen foundational art skills through drawing, painting, perspective, composition, color exploration, and mixed media projects using a variety of artist-quality materials. Young artists will learn to slow down, observe more carefully, and develop confidence in expressing their ideas visually. Lessons are designed to support different experience levels, learning styles, and creative interests within a calm, encouraging studio environment. Educator and artist Sasha Roberts-Levi provides personalized guidance while encouraging students to experiment, make creative choices, and discover their own artistic voice. Projects may include representational, abstract, imaginative, and mixed media artwork. Please note that this class does not focus on anime, manga, or cartoon-style drawing.
