About this event
The Catlett Legacy — A Conversation Across Generations Elizabeth Catlett lived ninety-six years. She carved stone, pressed ink into paper, raised a family across two countries, and left behind a body of work that insists in every line and form that Black women's lives are worthy of beauty, monument, and witness. But what does it mean to be her son, her granddaughter, her grandson? To grow up in the presence of that vision? To carry a name that belongs to history while also belonging to you? She Made Us is an intimate family conversation Francisco Mora Catlett, Naima Mora, and Mahalia de Los Angeles Mora Perez about legacy as inheritance, burden, and gift. About knowing Elizabeth Catlett not only as an icon, but as a mother, a grandmother, and a person who cooked, argued, laughed, and loved. Cost: Free
