Na Bonsai is a guitarist, vocalist, producer, and sound artist exploring the intersections of Black musical traditions and experimental composition. Through songwriting, graphic scores, improvisation, and exploratory sound design, she creates immersive works that invite embodied listening.
Luke Polipnick is a Chicago-based multi instrumentalist and composer/improviser, and iconoclastic guitarist. He has worked widely in the free improvisation, jazz, folk, extreme metal, and popular music worlds. He is an in-demand collaborator both in Chicago and internationally, and he leads numerous bands ranging from highly composed indie-prog/art rock of Lean Years, the IDM/psych trio Pixilated Cryptids, to the fully improvised extreme metal of Abhorrent Expanse, who’s last album “Enter the Misanthropocene” was #16 on the Wire’s best of 2025 list. He plays bass guitar in brutal prog legends The Flying Luttenbachers and can be heard on their last two records.
Acclaimed, Detroit based guitarist, composer and producer Sean Blackman creates multi-cultural and multi-genre music… modern-hybrids of old and new world sounds. His group, ‘In Transit’ delivers assorted fusions of internationally renowned performers as well as Detroit’s finest. Awarded by the city of Detroit for bringing cultural diversity to the music scene. His unique World Music style is influenced by his deep passion for traditional ethnic music from around the world and of course, growing up in Detroit - jazz, blues, funk, rock and soul.
