Family Nature Hike

About this event

Grab the family and hit the trail! These guided hikes are perfect for families with children and focus on exploration, discovery, and the simple joys of being outdoors. Together, we’ll investigate seasonal changes and enjoy hands-on nature activities along the way. Each hike is designed for fun and learning. Come join the adventure! What to Expect: This program starts indoors, ends outside. The time, approximately 75 minutes, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk from .5 mile to 1.5 miles. The planned path surface is gravel and occasionally steep. In winter months, snow and ice may make the trails slippery. Ages: Fun for all ages! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Time: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Cost: $3 per child, adults and children under 2 are free! Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
