Troy in Translation Book Club

About this event

Join TPL librarians for the inaugural Troy in Translation Book Club. In this new book club, the group will discuss a book that has been widely translated. This is the perfect chance for English language learners to read a book in their native language and then practice their English conversation skills. Native English speakers will also appreciate the conversation about translation practices.

This session will be discussing The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Originally published in Portuguese, The Alchemist has become a bestseller across various languages. Visit the event link to request the book in various languages.
