*IMPORTANT: There is 4 parts to each choreography piece. Please view what part this course is currently on by viewing our yearly calendar at jordanmacdance.com Introduction to ballet vocabulary, structure of a ballet class, and correct body placement in relation to the barre and center. Ballet positions of the feet and hands. Exploring plié, Tendu, Dégagé, and Rond de jambe at the barre. Balance, coordination, and posture exercises in the center as well as listening and understanding how music is counted. Black leotard, Pink tights, Ballet shoes are required for class and Part 4.
