About this event

Owls are calling- let’s get outside and listen for their sounds! This program is specifically designed for families with younger children that are interested in owls and other creatures of the night. We’ll learn a little bit about Michigan’s owls, take a night hike to look and listen for wildlife as they settle into their evening routines, and then do an owl-themed craft and activity. While we may not be lucky enough to encounter an owl, we will have a lot of fun!

What to Expect:

This class starts and ends indoors. Participants will take a short hike after dark on compact gravel trails. After the hike, the group will have the opportunity to complete a craft and owl activity.

Ages: Children 4 and up but geared to children 4-10. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Time: 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Cost: $5 per child, adults are Free!

Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required one day before the program.
