Grown-Up Gatherings: Fly Tying

About this event

Whether you’re curious about fly fishing, looking for a creative winter activity, or simply want to spend a Friday evening in good company, join us at the Outdoor Adventure Center for an introduction to fly-tying with Flygirls of Michigan. We’ll cover the basics of fly tying and teach you step-by-step how to tie the most popular fly patterns. You'll leave the program with flies you made yourself. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Light snacks and drinks are provided to attendees during the program. This is a 21 or older event; please provide ID at event check-in. This event is sponsored by Friends of the OAC. Beer, wine and nonalcoholic refreshments will be provided. This program is subject to cancellation if minimum attendance is not met. Preregistration is required. Cost is $40 per person. Register for Grown-up Gatherings: Fly-Tying
