About this event

Books and Beer for a Good Cause!

Join us as we celebrate Dave Coverly's newest book, My Support Dog Ate My Comfort Food: A Collection of Canine Comics.

Dave will talk about his creative process and where his ideas come from, then take your questions and sign books. At the end of the event, we're raffling off 3 original signed panels, and one custom pet portrait!

This event supports Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control (FoDACC). An FoDACC representative will be on hand with adoptable dogs (weather permitting) and to tell you more about the great work they do for our community. They'll also be collecting donations onsite. Here's what they need most:

- Cat & Dog Food / Treats - Blankets / Bath towels - Cat Litter - Cash!
