ECONOMY NEWS

  • Michigan's minimum wage rose from $12.48 to $13.73 per hour on Jan. 1; workers at Kerby's Koney Island in Southfield celebrated & restaurant owners warned of increased costs. The raise is part of a gradual climb to $15 by 2027 that also increases tipped wages.  WXYZ
