GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Oakland County road crews have used more salt and brine than usual this winter because of nearly daily small snowfalls—resulting in extra overtime hours and over $2M in additional spending that may delay spring road projects.  The Detroit News
  • Orange barrels are in place on I-94 in Allen Park as MDOT prepares for the $353 million Restore94 project set to begin on March 2 with lane closures and detour routes in both directions. The project will affect the Southfield Freeway interchange and last until 2029.  The Detroit News
