GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Michigan Department of Treasury has processed over 1.1 million tax returns and issued $565 million in refunds so far. Taxpayers can check state refunds on Treasury’s website (and federal refunds via the IRS portal) before filing closes on April 15. Hometown Life
- ➤ The Michigan Department of Transportation begins new ramp closures today for its multi-year I-696 Restore the Reuther project at the interchange of I-696 and I-75. Closures and detours via M-10, M-53, M-102, and M-59 will continue into early summer. CBS News Detroit
