GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Whitmer declared an energy emergency on Friday, Apr. 3 in response to rising gas prices reaching up to four dollars per gallon. The measure aims to reduce fuel costs for local drivers, including those in Southfield.  FOX 2 Detroit

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Detroit Red Wings will face the New York Rangers at 12:30 p.m. today on ABC in a must-win matchup as they chase a playoff spot, with coach Todd McLellan urging an intense effort despite key injuries and an upcoming back-to-back game.  MLive
