- ➤ Southfield Police Chief Elvin Barren provided an update at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday about the investigation into the April 12 gas station stabbing death—66-year-old suspect Gregory Clark faced manslaughter charges after stabbing his friend during a fight and turning himself in. Fox 2 Detroit
- ➤ On April 12, a man named Eddie Clora was fatally stabbed outside a Southfield gas station at 8 Mile and Lahser by his friend Gregory Anthony Clark; Clora’s family spoke out Tuesday morning and said he was loved by his wife, children, and grandchildren—while Clark now faces a manslaughter charge and up to 15 years in prison. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ MDOT will close I-696’s westbound lanes from May 9 to May 19 so crews can demolish the Church Street plaza bridge in Oak Park — drivers will be detoured on I-75 and local roads.
