Community members in Lathrup Village are fundraising for an auxiliary flagpole to be installed at City Hall (to allow more flag displays for events like Pride and Juneteenth).
The campaign has raised $2,030 of its $5,100 goal and aims to install the flagpole by June.

Shannon Crisenberry, a data annotator from St. Clair, won $38,400 on May 5 by doubling her money in Final Jeopardy and returned on May 6 to seek a second win against Tristan Williams and Lauren Black (Jeopardy! airs locally).

In a Game 1 playoff win on May 5, Pistons forward Duncan Robinson scored 19 points and celebrated an inside two as he mixed it up to energize his team against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
His rare two-pointer celebration added a spark to Detroit's playoff push.
