- ➤ Detroit Zoo animals are active outdoors as spring and summer start. Visitors will see baby lions, gorillas, and lemurs, and the zoo will debut its new Discovery Trails on Saturday, May 23 to feature bush dogs. MLive

- ➤ Trinity Health is asking patients (in Livingston, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties) to complete a new survey that will identify community health needs. The results will shape local care initiatives and be shared on Trinity's website. WXYZ

- ➤ Detroit Lions will host the Bears on Thanksgiving Day at Ford Field on Thursday, Nov. 26. The game is Bears head coach Ben Johnson’s first Thanksgiving contest against his former team after four seasons with the Lions (it is the third matchup announced ahead of the NFL schedule release). MLive
- ➤ The Detroit Tigers are nearing returns for injured pitchers as Beau Brieske (eligible May 25) and Connor Seabold (rehab might extend until June 8) pitched scoreless innings for Toledo on Tuesday night. MLive
