  • Today, crews in Southfield and Oak Park begin closing Greenfield Road over I-696 at 7 a.m. for bridge work expected to last about two months (detours are provided via the service drive and turnaround bridges).  MLive

  • Right-handed reliever Will Vest returned from the injured list Sunday at Comerica Park, replacing Ty Madden (who suffered a forearm contusion after a line drive hit him Friday). The Tigers expect Madden to resume play soon.  MLive
  • The Pistons switched their starting lineup in Game 6 when coach Bickerstaff subbed Daniss Jenkins (replacing Duncan Robinson due to a back injury) as the team prepares for a decisive Game 7 against the Cavaliers.  MLive
  • The Pistons dropped 125-94 to the Cavaliers at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday night and are out of the NBA playoffs, while Donovan Mitchell scored 26 and Cleveland now prepares to face the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference finals.  CBS News Detroit
  • Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond scored the game-winning goal and added two assists as Sweden beat Denmark 6-2 at the World Championship in Fribourg on Sunday. The win improved Sweden's record to 1-1 while Denmark fell to 0-2.  MLive
