- ➤ A Waterford Township man, his 16-year-old son and a friend were seriously injured when a 17-foot Chris-Craft exploded near M-59 and Williams Lake Road Sunday at 1:20 p.m. on Pontiac Lake after the ignition switch was turned on — one teen suffered burns over 50% of his body while the others were hospitalized, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
