🚨 Crime
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said on August 27th that Davonta Jones—the 12th member of a criminal group that targeted new vehicle storage lots, car dealerships, parking lots, and residences—was sentenced to 15 to 20 months in prison after pleading guilty to operating an auto theft ring throughout 2024 in Southeast Michigan.

Judge Greg Mathis and Dr. Tonesa Welch will host an expungement clinic in Southfield this September to help residents clear criminal records.
The clinic will provide guidance on eligibility and the record-clearing process — giving people a chance to move forward.
