  • Lawrence Technological University’s College of Architecture and Design will host an AI panel from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Detroit Institute of Arts—experts will discuss AI’s impact on art and design—showing how LTU is preparing students for creative, innovative work.  Southfield Sun
  • Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B announced her Little Miss Drama Tour will stop in Detroit with a performance at Little Caesars Arena on March 15. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sept. 25 and the stop is part of her biggest arena run.  CBS News Detroit

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Ruby-throated hummingbirds have begun migrating south from Michigan as fall arrives, with a digital map from Hummingbird Central tracking sightings across the state—experts said the birds will move on to wintering grounds in Mexico and Central America. They will return in late spring when gardeners set up feeders to welcome them.  Hometown Life

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Yesterday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer addressed state lawmakers about reaching a bipartisan budget deal before Sept. 30 to avoid a shutdown—she noted that tariffs are hurting manufacturing and schools still lack adequate funding. Her office said passing a balanced budget remains critical to lower costs and maintain public services.  FOX 2 Detroit
