- ➤ AMC Theatres and other chains will host Taylor Swift’s Party of a Showgirl event from October 3 to October 5 to showcase her new album The Life of a Showgirl and premiere her music video The Fate of Ophelia. - ➤ Four meteor showers will light up Michigan skies in October, including the Draconids, Orionids, Southern Taurids, and Northern Taurids. The Draconids will peak on Oct. 8 while the Orionids peak on Oct. 22-23 (the Southern Taurids peak on Nov. 3-4) and (the Northern Taurids peak on Nov. 8-9). Hometown Life
