- ➤ Red Zone Firearms is set to open at 12 Mile near Greenfield Road next door to IXL Learning Center & Baby Genius day care centers, and parents have raised safety concerns about guns near children. - ➤ Wendy’s paid over $2.8 million to settle lawsuits with 19 Michigan residents affected by a 2022 E.coli outbreak — individual awards reached up to $550,000 — and the fast-food chain continues its legal fight with its lettuce supplier. MLive
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Officials announced that over 85,000 bags of shrimp sold at local grocery stores, including Kroger, have been recalled due to possible contamination with cesium-137 (a radioactive substance that may increase cancer risk) and products purchased between June 12 and Sept. 17 should be returned for a full refund.
