- ➤ On October 5, the Detroit Tigers defeated the Cleveland Guardians to advance to the ALDS, and fans traveled to Cleveland to cheer. FOX 2 reporter Lauren Edwards spoke with several traveling fans — many from Detroit who showed strong support for the team. FOX 2 Detroit
- ➤ On October 5th, the Detroit Lions defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 37-24—running back David Montgomery scored twice with a touchdown run and a trick play while quarterback Jared Goff threw three key touchdown passes. The Bengals fell behind after trailing 28-3 and struggled after their star quarterback was injured, leading to a tough game. CBS News Detroit
