- ➤ Spirit Airlines said Detroit was the 5th most searched Thanksgiving destination for travelers — the carrier will add Spirit First and Premium Economy seats for the busy fall travel period. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On October 23rd, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services said that following USDA orders during a federal shutdown, November SNAP benefits were paused for about 1.4 million residents—many of whom are children or have disabilities—until further notice. CBS News Detroit
