Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 26th of October.
Good morning, Southfield.
The Detroit Faith City November calendar lists 10 upcoming faith events in Metro Detroit that cover many religions such as Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist and Hindu, and will offer celebrations, workshops and community gatherings in the coming weeks.
It also presents October programs and a podcast series with local faith leaders (for example, a Día de los Muertos celebration on Nov 1-2) to help residents plan their visits (each event has its own time and place).
Michigan will gain an hour when Daylight Saving Time ends on Nov.2 (2 a.m.) and residents should set back manual clocks by one hour before going to bed on Nov.1.
This change will mark the return to standard time and lead to earlier sunrises and sunsets.
