GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Early Wednesday, travelers arrived at Detroit Metro Airport and reported only minor delays with a short check-in line at McNamara Terminal—officials said temporary FAA flight load cuts amid a government shutdown had created uncertainty. The FAA lifted those cuts on November 17 and forecasts predict that holiday travel will be the busiest in 15 years with more than 360000 flights scheduled. The Detroit News

- ➤ After beating the Giants in overtime on Sunday, the Detroit Lions now prepare to play the Packers today on Thanksgiving. Coach Dan Campbell said the team will work through injuries (including Taylor Decker, Penai Sewell, Tate Ratledge, and center Graham Glasgow) while running back Jahmyr Gibbs broke a team record with his 69-yard touchdown run.
