- ➤ On Jan. 1, 2026, Michigan will raise its minimum wage from $12.48 to $13.73 as part of a plan to reach $15 by Jan. 1, 2027; rates for tipped workers will increase gradually with adjustments calculated based on inflation starting in October 2027. FOX 2 Detroit
