- ➤ A long-lost 26-foot sculpture by Detroit artist Herry Bertoia now stands at GM's global headquarters inside the Hudson's Detroit building. The piece, restored by the City of Southfield after its rediscovery in 2017 beneath layers of dirt, was installed after crews crafted a 15-foot-wide by 75-foot-tall opening. WXYZ

- ➤ During a Michigan Matters segment on Friday, Dec. 12, business leaders urged improvements in K-12 education to boost local job opportunities and economic growth.
