- ➤ Wayne County began a $70 million project to fix stormwater systems that keep streets clear and help protect basements — crews have already swept 94 miles of roadway and cleaned 235 catch basins. - ➤ After a month of hearings, Oakland County commissioners approved nearly $18 million in budget amendments—adding funds for housing, water resources and public safety—to the $1.08 billion plan for Fiscal Year 2026.
